OVER NIGHT
Day - 01
Welcome on arrival at the Bandaranaike International Airport by a Sunway Holiday representative and transfer to Colombo. In the afternoon an information briefing will be held regarding the tour along with a welcome drink. There after do a sight seeing tour of Colombo. Visit the Fort and Pettah area, the Gangaramaya Temple, the old parliament building, the Independence square, a Mosque, and the Galle face green. Dinner and over night stay in Colombo.

Day - 02
After breakfast drive to Bogawantalawa, approximately a 3 hours drive. Check in at Castlereagh Bungalow. Enjoy the cool and fresh atmosphere and the surrounding area. Dinner and over night stay in Bogawantalawa.

Day - 03
After breakfast trail from Castlereagh Bungalow which covers a distance of approximately 6 km and takes approximately 2 hours to complete a walk in the Osborne Tea Estate in the area surrounding the bungalow. Along the way you will be able to pause and absorb a beautiful view of the Castlereagh Reservoir and the dam. The walk takes you through the village, passing a Hindu kovil or temple, the Carfax Tamil School and numerous natural streams. Relax during the afternoon in the fresh cool climate. Dinner and over night stay in Castlereagh Bungalow.

Day - 04
After breakfast drive to Nuwaraeliya. Do a sight seeing tour of this tea plantation rich city. Set in the heart of tea-country this beautiful town is where the British succeeded in creating an English countryside with homes in styles from Georgian to Queen Anne. Well-kept lawns with hedges, an Anglican church and the famous golf course and beautiful parks give the place an air of nostalgia. Situated 1890 meters above sea level, the air here is cool and fresh. Dinner and over night stay in Nuwaraeliya.

Day - 05
After breakfast trek through the tea plantation to see the workers plucking tea leaves. Also visit a tea factory to view the manufacturing process of tea. Watch the withered leaf being put in to the rolling machine and witness the leaves being fermented for oxidisation and then fired. There after drive to Kandy. Do a sight seeing tour of Kandy. Visit the upper lake drive, the Kandy Lake, the market area and the Temple of the Tooth Relic. In the evening witness a cultural dance show. Dinner and over night stay in Kandy.

Day - 06
After breakfast drive to Hantana, to visit the tea museum which is approcimately 3 kilometers from Kandy. This Tea Museum is the best place to see the memorabilia, machinery, books, pictures and objects of historical value to the Tea Industry of Sri Lanka. Built in 1925, the spacious four storied Hantane Tea Factory, had been abondoned for more than a decade when it was earmarked for the Museum Project undertaken by the Sri Lanka Tea Board and the Planters' Association of Ceylon. Today it stands as a proud monument to the success story that is Ceylon Tea.
The Hantane tea factory is located three miles from Kandy. It is served by a motorable road that circles the factory providing easy access. The factory building consists of four floors. The ground accommodate heavy machinery; the first floor occupies some examples in the withering process. Library and the Audio-visual presentations in the second floor whilst the sales outlets are found in the third floor. The fourth floor is to be converted to a deluxe restaurant. There after drive to Negombo. En-route visit the elephant orphanage in Pinnawela. Witness the feeding and bathing activities of the orphanaed elephants. Check in to the hotel in Negombo. Relax by the beach. Dinner and over night stay in Negombo.

After breakfast do a sight seeing tour of Negombo. Visit the remaining of the Dutch period, a Buddhist temple and a Catholic church. See a fishing village, the fish market, and the bazaar. Relax during the afternoon by the beach. Dinner and over night stay in Negombo.
